Washington survived against the Maulers on Sunday afternoon to move to 4-9 and, at least for now, a game ahead of Pittsburgh in the race to the bottom of the division. They won through a punishing ground game (204 total yards and a touchdown) and four field goals from their kicker<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Pittsburgh quarterback Mike Tomczak continued his decent play in spite of Pittsburgh&#8217;s running troubles. Their leading rusher gained only 36 yards. Tomczak, himself, only threw for 187 yards. However, he threw for Pittsburgh&#8217;s two touchdowns, their only points in the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Both teams are on the road in division battles next week. Pittsburgh goes to Philly.
