Offensive Rookie of the Year

Tracy Ham, QB, Toronto Titans. Ham split time with Turk Schoenert, but looks to have won the job for next year with his performance.

Coach of the Year

Walt Michaels, New Jersey Generals. Michaels led the generals to the best record in the league and a close loss in the semifinals. With Flutie and Walker back for another year, they look to make another push.

Defensive Rookie of the Year

Al Noga, DE, Los Angeles Express. Noga recorded 113 tackles and 8 sacks in his first season He also got 19 hurries and 38 stuffs.


Defensive Player of the Year

Tony Gant, S, Michigan Panthers. Gant recorded 56 tackles, one sack, and 4 interceptions on the year to help the Panthers make the playoffs. He allowed only 40% completions on the year and was a true asset to the defense.

Comeback Player of the Year

Steve Young, QB, Los Angeles Express. After losing the starting job last year, Young came back to record 36 total touchdowns and lead the Express to the playoffs.

Offensive Player of the Year

Randall Cunningham, QB, Las Vegas Ace. Cunningham took over the league, completing almost 70% of his passes for over 400 yards and 48 touchdowns against only 16 interceptions. He also added 8 TDs on the ground.
